Ended Friday, February 21st at 12:21pm PST on Bring a Trailer Auctions at NO RESERVE : 1959 Fiat-Abarth 750 Derivazione This 1959 Fiat-Abarth 750 Derivazione is noted to have spent most of its life in California before being acquired by the current owner as a non-running project out of Oregon in the early 2010s. Subsequent refurbishment work was carried out by marque specialist Andrew Schank and involved performing rust repairs, repainting the body in white, and reupholstering the interior in red and white vinyl. Power is provided by a Fiat 100D–sourced 767cc inline-four outfitted with a single Weber carburetor and mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. The car rides on 12? Campagnolo-style wheels and is further equipped with front disc brakes, yellow-lens driving lamps, and rear-hinged doors. This 750 Derivazione is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a tool kit, refurbishment photos, and a clean California title that lists the vehicle as a 1961 model year. The Fiat Abarth 750 Berlina Derivazione was introduced in 1956 and utilized the steel bodywork of the contemporary Fiat 600. This example underwent rust repairs and received replacement floors prior to a repaint in its current white finish as part of the aforementioned refurbishment completed in the early 2010s. Exterior details include a bullet-style driver-side mirror along with yellow-lens driving lamps, rear-hinged doors, twin exhaust tips, and a vented engine cover. Campagnolo-style 12? wheels are finished in silver and mounted with 145/70 Federal SuperSteel tires. A front disc brake conversion was carried out as part of the project, during which time a number of suspension components were replaced. The front calipers are finished in red, while drum brakes are retained out back. The cabin was reupholstered as part of the refurbishment and houses a pair of front bucket seats along with a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl with white piping. Color-coordinated upholstery extends to the door panels and lower dashboard, while black rubber linings cover the floors. Lap belts, map pockets, sun visors, and a gray headliner are further appointments. The under-dash panel has been removed. The two-spoke steering wheel features an Abarth horn button and frames a 90-mph speedometer flanked by a fuel level readout and a Fiat 850–sourced oil pressure gauge. A Jaeger tachometer is located to the left of the instrument binnacle, while iEquus gauges monitoring voltage and coolant temperature are installed below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The Fiat 100D–sourced 767cc inline-four was installed under previous ownership. It is equipped with a single Weber downdraft carburetor, a black-finished air cleaner assembly, and a four-into-two exhaust manifold. The trunk-mounted fuel tank up front is paired with an electric fuel pump. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
