This 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was cosmetically and mechanically refurbished before it was acquired by its current owner in 2015. The truck is finished in beige over gray vinyl, and it is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a sunroof, polished 17? wheels, front disc brakes, and inward-facing rear jump seats. This FJ40 is now offered on dealer consignment with a removable black soft top, fabric doors, and a California title.

Finished at the factory in beige (464), the truck was repainted under previous ownership following rust repairs, and it has side-hinged cargo doors, a receiver hitch, and a swing-away tire carrier.

American Racing 17? wheels are mounted with 265/70 Nitto Crosstek tires that show 2012 production date codes. Aisin manually locking front hubs are noted, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The front bucket seats were recovered in gray vinyl under previous ownership, and the cabin has a sunroof, a cassette stereo, a clinometer on the dashboard, and inward-facing rear jump seats beneath a four-point roll bar. Flaws in the headliner are shown in the gallery below.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer with a six-digit odometer showing 145k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report has entries in January 2002 and April 2002 stating Not Actual Mileage titles were issued for the vehicle, and total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six was overhauled in 2000 according to the selling dealer, who reports approximately 35k miles driven since, and it sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The vehicle most recently passed a California emissions test in November 2023.
