This 1997 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet is in Guards Red with Cashmere Beige leather and has just turned 55K miles.

In 1993 Porsche introduced what is regarded by many as the most beautiful 911 of all: the Type 993. Over the years the 911 had received many aerodynamic and safety-inspired add-ons, diluting the purity of the original form; the Type 993's arrival marked a return to basic principles, being recognizably a 911 but one in which all functions had been harmoniously integrated in a truly outstanding example of modern automotive styling. 

The car offered here is a 1997 993 Cabriolet. Sold new in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 25, 1997.

Mechanically, the car is as good as it looks, having covered only 55,049 miles from new. 

Recent (March 2017) service includes new front struts, brakes pads front and rear, drive belts and fluids. (Cost of $2907.34)

The suspension and steering are all excellent and all electrical systems work as designed including cold AC.

The red paint is excellent with even color consistency over the entire car as only original paint typically can. Some minor rock nicks on the nose. Some thinning of the paint on the drivers side threshold and edge of the drivers door.

Interior is excellent. Drivers seat surface shows some wear on the left side bolster.  Panels, dash, carpets, boot, headliner and rear window are excellent.

Soft top has some tears from where it folds.  Headliner is good.

A non smokers car.
