This 1982 Porsche 911SC was purchased new by its current owner from Burlingame Porsche-Audi of Burlingame, California, and now shows 67k miles. The car is finished in blue over beige leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, both of which are numbers-matching. Features include a Monty exhaust, 16? Fuchs wheels, a sunroof, air conditioning, a Nardi shift knob, and a Blaupunkt stereo. Service since 2019 has consisted of an oil change as well as replacement of the tires, ignition components, battery, and fuel pump relay. This 911SC is now offered on dealer consignment with sales paperwork, manufacturer’s literature, tools, fuel logs, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, CoCo mats, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car was delivered new in Light Blue Metallic (U2) and features fog lights, side moldings, and a sunroof. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below.
The selling dealer states that the 16? Fuchs wheels were recently refinished, and they are mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires that show 2020 date codes. Each corner is equipped with disc brakes, and the car received sport shock absorbers from the factory.
The Beige Leather (YH) interior features bolstered seats with perforated inserts, and the dashboard and door tops are trimmed in brown. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt cassette player. A Nardi shift knob and a Clifford alarm have been added.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a central tachometer, an 85-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 67k miles.
The 3.0-liter flat-six was rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new, and a Monty exhaust has been added. The timing-chain tensioners were replaced in 1992 and service since 2019 has included replacement of the ignition components, battery, and fuel pump relay as well as an oil change.
The engine-case stamping reads ?64C2149? and matches the number on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shown below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle stamped with 74C2169, which matches the number shown on the CoA below. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity was issued in 1996 and lists the factory colors, powertrain numbers, and options. Sales paperwork indicates a total price of $34,752.10, and a stamped maintenance booklet and handwritten fuel logs will also accompany the car along with manufacturer’s literature, license plates, aftermarket manuals, and receipts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration activity in California since the first entry in 1992.
