This Porsche 912E is finished in yellow over black leather upholstery and is powered by a 2.0-liter flat-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2019, and work under current ownership is said to have included replacing the battery, muffler, fuel pump, and cold-start valve. Additional equipment includes 14? Fuchs-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a sunroof, power windows, and an Alpine head unit. This 912E is offered on dealer consignment with a handwritten maintenance log and a clean California title.
The car is finished in yellow and is said to have been repainted in 2008, at which time the window seals and windshield were reportedly replaced. Details include a heckblende, a sunroof, amber taillight lenses, and bright trim around the headlights and windows. The power-adjustable side mirrors are inoperative. Photos of paint meter readings can be seen in the gallery.
Five-spoke 14? Fuchs-style wheels wear 185/70 Starfire RS-C 2.0 tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes with red-finished calipers at all four corners.
The carpets and headliner are said to have been replaced and the seats were reupholstered in black leather in 2008. The car is equipped with power windows and an Alpine head unit.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and supplementary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 256k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter flat-four was overhauled in February 2017 and is equipped with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. Work under current ownership is said to have included replacing the battery, fuel pump, and cold-start valve as well as installing a Dansk muffler. The selling dealer states the car does not run well when cold and notes that the air conditioning system is not connected.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle that is said to have been rebuilt in April 2017. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
The selling dealer states that the car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
