Vehicle Overview
Ended on Bring a Trailer Auctions : 1975 Porsche 911S Coupe 5-Speed This 1975 Porsche 911S coupe is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and has been repainted metallic red over black leatherette upholstery. Features include SSI heat exchangers, PMO carburetors, a Smart Racing Products sway bar, 17? Fikse wheels, an aftermarket exhaust, a rear whale-tail spoiler, front bucket seats, manual windows, air conditioning, a Sony CD stereo, and a heated rear window. This mid-year 911 was acquired by the current owner in 2015 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title. Finished from the factory in Grand Prix White, the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted metallic red in 1999, at which time a whale-tail rear spoiler was installed. Additional features include body-color headlight trim rings, dark chrome window trim and door handles, and body-color impact bumpers. The 17? Fikse wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires measuring 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with cooling ducts. A Smart Racing Products sway bar has been added. Black leatherette upholstery covers the front bucket seats, folding rear seats, and side panels. Appointments include manual-crank windows, opening rear-quarter windows, an analog clock, air conditioning, a Sony CD stereo, a wood shift knob, and a heated rear window. The aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The 2.7-liter flat-six features dual PMO carburetors and an MSD 6AL-2 ignition controller and coil. A valve adjustment was performed and the spark plugs, drive belts, and valve cover gaskets replaced in October 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in 2000. SSI heat exchangers and an aftermarket exhaust have been installed.
