This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda is in Lime Light Green with Black.
Now available is this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda which was rotisserie rebuilt and modified in 2006 to the highly coveted condition you see today.
Positive modifications include the installation of a 426ci Hemi V8 crate engine (circa 2006) with twin four barrel Edelbrock 600 CSM’s . A repaint in Lime Light Green was also performed and a new black leather interior was fitted – all performed by Extreme Classics of Huntley, Illinois.
Build date of this car, according to its VIN tag, is November 3, 1970.
The car left the factory in Go Mango paint and is now finished in Lime Light Green and equipped with a Shaker hood, black “Hemi” hockey stick stripes, and a black top.
It came from the factory with the Trans Am package Option code A53 - this included the Hemi HD transmission, Mopar HD shocks and suspension 8 3/4 rear end w/ possi traction. 391 Trans Am gear ration.

The restoration, which was completed approximately twelve years ago, included a 2-stage repaint in the current color.
This Barracuda was purchased by the consignor in 2014 and is now offered with documenting the refurbishment work with a clean California title.
New black leather upholstery was sourced and installed during the restoration along with matching door panels and matching black carpets. Equipment includes power steering with a tilting steering column and a leather wrapped steering wheel, a pistol grip shifter, and slotted courtesy lights.
The Rallye instrument cluster was also refurbished and includes an 7k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, clock, a combo alternator/oil/water temperature gauge, and fuel level gauge. The 5-digit odometer showing 25,277 miles TMU, and about 2500 miles were added by the current owner.
15? Rallye wheels wear BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires are fitted making for a comfortable period feeling drive. Suspension is sound all around.
Small imperfections are found around this car – but nothing detracting from overall value. Two small touch-ups on the right front fender, small scratches on both quarter glass windows and a small crack on the windshield side of the dash.
Brightwork and chrome are great, all lenses and lights are free of cracks and stone chips, and the vinyl top is excellent.
