This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was sold new at Ray Catena Motor Car Corporation of Edison, New Jersey and was acquired by the current owner in 2022. Subsequent work involved replacing the shocks, steering components, control arms, brake pads, radiator, battery, muffler, valve cover gaskets, engine and subframe mounts, and fluids. The car is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Arctic White over blue leather. Features include a limited-slip differential, a dark blue soft top, a removable hardtop, 15? Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, a Becker AM/FM/cassette stereo, an alarm system, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 shows 28k miles is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ UpShift Collection with manufacturer’s literature, a data card, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The silver-finished 15? Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with 205/65 Michelin X-Tour AS tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Work in 2022 involved replacing the brake pads, rear rotors, shocks, upper and lower control arms, ball joints and bushings, tie rod assemblies, drag link, and steering shock. The brake master cylinder was replaced in 2023.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer was repaired in 2022 and now shows 28k miles.

The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The valve cover gaskets, radiator, battery, and muffler were replaced in 2022. A replacement EHA valve was installed in 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was serviced and the engine and subframe mounts were replaced in 2022.
