This 1929 Ford Model A closed-cab pickup is a non-running project that was acquired by the current owner’s husband in the late 2000s. Finished in green with black fenders and running boards, the truck has black vinyl upholstery and a cargo bed enclosure with roll-up side panels. The truck has a 201ci L-head inline-four and a three-speed manual transmission, and other equipment includes 16? wire-spoke wheels, a side-mounted spare, a tilt-out windshield, and a Kraco cassette stereo. This Model A project is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a clean California title.
The closed-cab body is finished in green with black fenders and running boards, and paintwork was performed under prior ownership. A cargo bed enclosure has been fitted and features a black vinyl roof cover, a wood frame, and canvas roll-up rear and side panels with windows. The bed is outfitted with varnished wood-plank flooring and metal runners, and other details include a tilt-out windshield, a horn, taillights, dual side mirrors, and a toolbox mounted on the right running board. Rust is present on the brightwork, and blemishes are visible on the body panels.
Red-painted 16? wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 8.00-series Allstate wide-whitewall tires, and a spare is secured to the left running board. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums.
The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl and accompanied by color-coordinated door panels, headliner trim, and body-color sheet metal. Equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter, roll-up windows, a rearview mirror, and a Kraco AM/FM cassette stereo mounted in an overhead enclosure.
The four-spoke steering wheel has a brodie knob and sits ahead of a column-mounted turn signal control. A central instrument panel includes a barrel-type speedometer in addition to gauges for amperage and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 201ci L-head inline-four was factory rated at 40 horsepower and is linked to a three-speed manual transmission. The engine does not run.
