This 2005 Ferrari F430 Spider is finished in Nero Daytona over a Cuoio leather interior and is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential gearbox and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. It was manufactured for sale in Europe and was imported to the US in 2006. It was first registered in Texas in 2010 and later resided in Florida prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 2019. Equipment includes a power-operated black convertible top, 19? alloy wheels, cross-drilled brake rotors, Fabspeed exhaust headers, automatic climate control, and a factory CD stereo. Maintenance in 2020 included a replacement clutch pack, a resurfaced flywheel, a brake fluid service, and a coolant exchange. Now showing 7k miles, this F430 Spider is offered on dealer consignment in California with recent service records and a clean Arizona title.
The Spider variant of the Pininfarina-styled F430 was introduced at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show and features a power-retractable soft top that stows under an automated cover behind the seats. This example is finished in Nero Daytona with a black convertible top and features Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a rear diffuser, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear fascia. Paint chips are noted in the gallery below.Factory 19? split-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Braking is handled by drilled and ventilated rotors with optional red calipers, and a brake fluid service was performed in November 2020. The selling dealer has provided a video of the convertible top operation here.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats upholstered in Cuoio leather along with matching door panels, black carpets, a black dashboard, and carbon-fiber trim on the dash and center console. Equipment includes automatic climate control, power windows, a Ferrari CD stereo, and an adjustable Manettino dial on the steering wheel that can select several traction control and vehicle settings.
The multi-function steering wheel fronts shift paddles as well as instrumentation consisting of a central 10k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 7k miles, approximately 600 of which were added by the current owner since March 2019.
The 4.3-liter DOHC V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management along with a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory rated at 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Service during current ownership has included a coolant exchange, an oil change, and two replacement oxygen sensors. Fabspeed stainless exhaust headers are fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle, and service in 2020 also included a replacement clutch pack, a new clutch position sensor, and a resurfaced flywheel. The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows that the car was imported in 2006. Registration history in Florida, Texas, and Arizona is also shown. The selling dealer states that the car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
The selling dealer has provided a walk-around video above and a driving video below.
